Murugan devotees patiently read and understand the whole thing
1. There are 2 sources in Thiruchendur called Balasubramania Swami and Shanmugar . Swami Balasubramaniya looking east , Shanmugha graces, looking south.
2. In Thiruchendur, Veeravaku Thevar is the guardian deity. Hence the name Veeravaku Pattinam.

42. The annual income of the Thiruchendur Murugan Temple is presently about Rs. 30 crore.

Indrane was the peacock vehicle for Murugan before the Surasamaharam.
