Saptasagar NavNarayan ChaurasiMahadev

1. The Seven Oceans (Saptasagar)

According to the Skanda Purana, the holy city of Ujjain houses seven sacred water bodies or 'kunds', collectively known as Saptasagar. Taking a holy bath and performing 'Parikrama' here during the auspicious Purushottam Maas (Adhik Maas) is believed to wash away sins and multiply spiritual merit.
The seven sagars are: [1, 2]
  1. Rudra Sagar
  2. Kshir Sagar
  3. Govardhan Sagar
  4. Ratnakar Sagar
  5. Vishnu Sagar
  6. Purushottam Sagar
  7. Pushkar Sagar [1]
The Nav Narayan are the nine divine manifestations or avatars of Lord Vishnu. Visiting and worshiping these nine temples is believed to bring peace, destroy suffering, and pacify all nine 'Navagrahas' (nine planets).
The nine Narayanas in Ujjain are: [1, 2, 3, 4]
  1. Leela Purushottam Narayan (Near Harsiddhi Temple)
  2. Anant Narayan (Anant Peth)
  3. Satyanarayan (Dhaba Road)
  4. Chaturbhuj Narayan (Dhaba Road)
  5. Adi Narayan (Opposite Central Kotwali)
  6. Shesh Narayan (Kshir Sagar)
  7. Padm Narayan (Kshir Sagar)
  8. Laxmi Narayan (Gudari Chauraha)
  9. Govind Narayan [1]
3. The Eighty-Four Mahadevs (Chaurasi Mahadev)
The "Chaurasi Mahadev" refers to 84 distinct, highly vibrational Shiva temples spread across Ujjain. According to the Skanda Purana, Lord Shiva himself narrated the spiritual significance and story of these 84 dimensions to Goddess Parvati. Each temple—from the #1 Agastyaswar Mahadev to the #84 Kapileshwar Mahadev—is said to liberate devotees from the cycle of subconscious patterns and karmic debts. [1, 2]

Sri Subrahmanya Bhujangam by Sri Adi Sankara

When a chronic disease affected Adi Sankara, Lord Shiva came in his dream and advised him to go to Tiruchendur. While standing before the deity of Muruga at Tiruchendur, the seer felt a powerful light radiating from the idol. Marveling at the beauty of the Lord and admiring his infinite qualities, the great Acharya composed Subramanya Bhujangam, a set of outstanding prayer.
